HOW WE WORK
Our approach to treatment is based on the view that addiction is a disease. It affects every aspect of the alcoholic or addict’s life. That’s why we normally include families in the treatment process.
The alcohol, drugs and other addictive behaviours are symptoms of the disease and once they are out of the way our individualised treatment plans identify and address the underlying problems.
Our multi-disciplinary treatment team, made-up of physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, addictions counsellors, psychologists, spiritual counsellors and lifestyle specialists treat the whole person, not just the symptoms of the disease.
Counselling can be arranged for immediately. And after our initial assessment we provide an individual treatment programme that takes into account not only the addiction, but also the addict/alcoholic’s life, employment, social and family situations.
